Jeopardy Games
Jeopardy is a great way to learn new concepts and practice or review
concepts that have already been introduced. Jeopardy games can be
played with 2 people, 5 people or an entire classroom divided up
into teams. In fact, I have played Jeopardy with an entire grade
level. To reinforce math concepts, you can have the students keep
score. The competition aspect is a great motivator for kids to concentrate
and improve their skills. The game is multi-leveled. The 100 point
questions are much easier than the 500 point questions. Jeopardy
also gives you an opportunity to add new vocabulary to students knowledge.
Some of the skills that we have made Jeopardy Games for include:
Beginning Consonants
Beginning Blends
Ending Blends
Short Vowels
Word Families
Silent e
Diagraphs
Base Words
Compound Words
